Johanna Cludius

Between 2011 and 2014 Johanna researched the "Distributional Effects of Energy and Climate Policy" for her PhD thesis, focussing on the effects of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme and renewable energy policy in both Australia and Germany. She is now a researcher at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and investigates the future design of the Swiss electricity market and the Swiss energy and climate policy portfolio as part of a Swiss Competence Center for Energy Research. She is also employed by Oeko-Institute, a non-for profit consultancy based in Germany, where she works on market-based climate policy instruments, electricity markets and the socio-economic effects arising from policies in these areas. Johanna holds a Master in Economics from the Free University Berlin.
