John Batten III

As the Global Cities Director for Arcadis, John leads a global team dedicated to delivering outcomes that improve quality of life, safely and sustainably. John is a globally recognized thought leader in urban sustainability and water and has more than three decades of experience in the field. He now leads a portfolio of eighteen global cities for Arcadis. Prior to his current positions, he was the Executive Vice President and the Director of Strategic Client Development for Arcadis North America; and Global Water Director. John has a wealth of experience which includes management of drinking water, wastewater utilities, water for industry, water quality and public health, marketing, communications and customer and public relations. John holds a BS degree in Environmental Sciences from The American University and a Master’s degree in Public Health from New York Medical College.
