Celine Lim is a writer and plain language editor by trade, a social ecologist at heart, and a lover of the arts. She worked for six years at a national, English-language newspaper in Singapore in various positions including that of journalist, sub editor, copy editor and translator. She graduated from New York University with a BA in English and American Literature and Anthropology.
When it comes to the environment, she is particularly interested in waste management, sanitation and water issues, and their intersections with cities, culture and religion, public health and disaster governance, and human rights.
