Xue Jianyue has spent two years at Singapore newspaper TODAY covering major issues in the transport, environment and manpower beats. He has also written many stories relating to clean energy and resource conservation, such as the use of solar power in MRT stations and land-saving train depots.
He has contributed articles to Reuters as an intern, and to the Straits Times as a student journalist. Selected stories from his final-year project, on environmentally-friendly buildings in Singapore called The Green House Effect, were published in the Straits Times Saturday Special in 2012.
