Mike is an influential business transformation leader, writer, speaker and lecturer, with nearly thirty years experience across a range of sectors and territories – including, EU, US, Canada, South Africa, Asia, and UK.
Mike established Earthshine in 2006 – an international business consultancy/think-tank that integrates sustainability principles into the heart of business strategy and operations – enabling sustainable business success and the transition to a sustainable and low carbon economy.
Mike brings a unique fusion of business, commercial, technical and sustainability expertise – and is comfortable at strategic and operational levels. He has worked on major construction & engineering projects, such as Heathrow’s Terminal 5 and the British Airways London Eye, he has designed and built supply chain transformation programmes for blue-chip clients, and has developed new systems for sustainable business and economy. His personal mission is all about making things work better.
Mike is lead author of A Journey in Search of Capitalism 2.0 – the driving force behind The Sustainable Economy Project – and author of The Quiet Revolution (forthcoming), The Robust Guide to Sustainable Business (forthcoming), and a regular contributor of articles for Sustainable Business magazine, 2-degrees Network, The Guardian, The Ecologist and Huffington Post.
Outside the business world, Mike enjoys family life, country living, reading, listening to music, practicing mindfulness, and playing rock drums.
