1. Your Subscription to Eco-Business

1.1. We offer a range of subscriptions

EB Circle
EB Premium
EB Enterprise

1.2 EB Publishing services

EB Publishing services enable users to publish their own content. Users can choose to publish their events, jobs, press releases and research papers.
EB Publishing services are available only for EB Premium or EB Enterprise subscribers.
All submitted content to our website is reviewed before publishing. Submission does not guarantee the publishing of your content on Eco-Business. Each submission is reviewed by our editorial team. If it is approved, we categorise and tag them for relevance and easy searching.
For guidance on writing a suitable press release, please read our Press Release Guidelines.
We will contact you via email if changes are necessary before we can publish your content.
We do not accept any content containing the following:
- Profane or abusive language
- Unsuitable images
- Content that is deemed irrelevant to our community
The Eco-Business jobs portal is solely for roles in Sustainability. We reserve the right to decline the publication of any job deemed not suitable for our site.
The Eco-Business event calendar is dedicated to events related to sustainable development. We reserve the right to decline publication of any events submitted that are not relevant.

1.3 Eco-Business Flagship and Partner Events

All paid tickets sold are refundable within 48 hours of purchase. All refund requests must be sent directly to events@eco-business.com to be considered valid. Tickets are non-refundable after 48 hours of purchase.
All approved refunds will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
All approved refunds will be credited to the credit/debit card or PayPal account used to purchase the ticket.
All refund requests will receive a first response within 5 working days.
Tickets not purchased directly through the specific event listing on Eventbrite are not eligible for refunds (i.e. payments directly made to Eco-Business via cheque and/or bank transfer).
Eco-Business reserves the right to reject refund or compensation requests, and to refuse admission to any person whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming
Eco-Business may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather conditions, dangerous situations, or any other cause beyond reasonable control.
If the event is cancelled, and there are no intentions to postpone the event to a different date, all attendees with paid tickets will automatically be refunded.

Fees and Payment

1.4 We accept all major credit and debit cards. All payments are securely handled by Stripe.

1.5 If we do not receive payment authorisation or if any authorisation is subsequently cancelled, we reserve the right to terminate your subscription.

Cancellation Rights and Refunds

1.8 You can cancel your account and subscription at any time under ‘Account settings’ on your user dashboard once you log in with your username and password.

1.9 EB subscriptions are provided on a yearly basis and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods.

2. Your Privacy and Personal Information

2.1 Eco-Business respects your privacy and safeguarding your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy applies to Eco-Business collecting, using, disclosing, processing, and/or transferring out of Singapore, your personal data for one or more of the purposes described in this policy.

3. Limitation of our Liability

3.1 Eco-Business makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding your subscription. We expressly disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

3.2 Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot limit or exclude in law (such as for death or personal injury), in the event that you suffer any losses arising in connection with your subscription, or use of eco-business.com:

our total liability to you shall not exceed the total sums paid by you for your current Subscription; and
we shall not be liable or legally responsible in any way (whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise) for:
1. any loss that was not foreseeable to you or Eco-Business when the contract was formed;
2. any loss that was not caused by any breach on Eco-Business' part;
3. any business loss (including business interruption, or loss of revenues, sales or business opportunity);
4. any loss of profits, anticipated savings, goodwill, reputation, or data;
5. any loss of use or corruption of software or technical equipment;
6. any loss to non-consumers; and
7. any indirect or consequential loss

in each case even if we have been advised that such damages may arise.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

4.1 All of the content (including without limitation all texts, visuals, audio content) is the property of Eco-Business and protected by Singapore and international intellectual property laws (including without limitation copyright and trademark laws)

5.2 You may not reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, publish, display, communicate, transmit, broadcast, podcast, webcast, distribute, sell, trade or exploit for any commercial or other purposes, any portion of, or any access to:

any Eco-Business content to the extent permitted, with the prior written consent of Eco-Business or
any Third Party Published Content except, to the extent permitted, with the prior written consent of Eco-Business and the owner or licensee of the specific Published Content.
