The ‘Business Action for Nature’ workshop, hosted by the Centre for Governance and Sustainability (CGS) with the support of Kering, will gather industry leaders and sustainability advocates to advance understanding and action on nature-related business practices. This workshop aims to translate insights from CGS’s recent study into actionable steps for businesses, exploring ways to better report, manage and mitigate nature-related issues.
Chief Sustainability and Institutional Affairs Officer, Kering Group, Ms Marie-Claire Daveu will open the session, followed by a presentation by CGS’s director, Prof Lawrence Loh. Prof Loh will share on the importance and business case for integrating biodiversity into core operations and highlight key findings from CGS’s study on current practices in nature-related reporting. The founding partners of Good Growth Company will also provide their critical insights into nature finance.
The workshop will also feature a panel discussion among industry leaders to exchange knowledge on nature-related issues, offering participants insights into best practices, key strategies and collaboration opportunities.
