Nicole Han, Asia Pacific communications manager for climate action campaign group 350.org, has moved to Facebook.

The Singaporean takes on a role as integrity programme and partner specialist in the social media giant’s Asia Pacific news team.

She will work in support of the Facebook Journalism Project, an initiative that funds community news projects, trains journalists how best to use social tools to tell stories, and partners with publishers to combat fake news and promote news literacy.

During the search for a permanent replacement for Han, Pascale Hunt has been appointed as communications consultant for 350.org Asia Pacific. Hunt is a freelance environment journalist who has worked as a communications specialist for the likes of Greenpeace, The Diplomate and Ocean Impact Organisation.

Han joined 350.org in October 2020 from clean air non-government organisation Vital Strategies, and has previously worked with Conservation International.
