Jitesh Brahmkshatriya has joined CBRE’s cities consulting practice in India.

Real estate company CBRE has appointed Jitesh Brahmkshatriya to head its Cities Consulting practice in India, marking its intention to focus more closely on environmentally sustainable and climate resilient projects.

Brahmkshatriya’s project portfolio includes a two-acre low carbon social housing project on a landfill site in Torbay, UK, and developing low carbon planning and design tools for cities in India funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. He is currently involved with developing sustainable master-planning solutions for a large waterfront project in Kerala, a net-positive corporate and manufacturing campus at Bangalore and a circular economy strategy for a client in India.

He intends to deploy his 20 years’ experience across four continents to developing climate resilient cities, circular economy solutions and integrated master-planning solutions for public and private sector clients. Given the rapid urbanisation and climate crisis we’re facing today, it is important that whatever we plan today is future proofed and solutions are long-lasting, circular in nature, practical and deliverable, according to Brahmkshatriya.

Brahmkshatriya is a British Chevening Scholar, and holds a master’s degree in architecture and urban design from the University of Nottingham UK. He is a double gold medallist in architecture from MS University in Vadodara, India.
