The Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth (CSP) Singapore has hired sustainability consultant Joan Yap as head of training.

CSP Singapore is a newly launched training and research institute based in Singapore with a mission to drive research and mobilise private wealth to achieve the targets set by the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda 2030.
Yap joins CSP after a stint with Singapore Consultancy, where she was an environmental, social and governance (ESG) consultant.
“CSP Singapore aims to provide financial institutions with the capacity building tools to communicate the merits of sustainable investment products and to engage wealth owners towards sustainability goals in their portfolios,” Yap said.
Yap will be running structured competency courses as well as wealth programmes on sustainable finance and impact investing.
Yap entered the sustainability sector in 2010 after a 25-year career in financial markets technology. She is a specialist in responsible investments and capital utilisation for ESG impacts.
