A Sino-Japanese home appliance recycling project was started recently in Tonglu county, Zhengjiang province.
A joint electric wasting recycling venture is expected to run in the first half of 2012, with a total investment of 120 million yuan.
The venture, covering an area of 50 acres, is designed to be capable of recycling 500,000 to 1 million discarded home appliances per year after its completion.
The project is jointly funded by Japan’s Panasonic, Sumitomo, DOWA Group and China’s Hangzhou Dadi Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., and it is supported by the Japanese companies’ advanced technology and managerial experience.
