Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong called on overseas Vietnamese to invest more in Vietnam to develop the country while visiting the wholly foreign-invested Da Phuoc waste treatment complex on April 17.
The waste treatment complex, situated in Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City receives and treats half of the city’s discharge of 3,000 tonnes per day.
The modern equipped waste treatment area is able to recycle paper, plastic and organic waste.
It was funded by overseas Vietnamese David Duong, owner of the Vietnam Waste Treatment Limited Company.
