Sustainability non-profit Forum for the Future has appointed Dhaval Negandhi from The Nature Conservancy as associate director and climate lead.

Based in India, Negandhi will lead Forum’s climate programmes, which are focused on developing narratives around the risks of climate change, scaling up climate solutions, and helping organisations align with the 1.5°C global warming limit set under the Paris Agreement.
He joins after more than five years with The Nature Conservancy, where he was an ecological economist, working on ways to reduce the social and environmental impact of infrastructure projects in India.
Prior to The Nature Conservancy, he worked for the India Institute of Forest Management on a variety of projects over several years, including looking at how ecosystem services concepts can be used for poverty alleviation and working out the value of ecosystem services from tiger reserves.
Also joining Forum for the Future to run the non-profit’s communications for the Asia Pacific region based in Singapore is Fern Yu.
Yu joins from cultural exchange group Singapore International Foundation (SIF), where she was assistant manager of communications.

She takes on the role of communications and marketing manager, and will work on projects including the Responsible Energy Initiative, a project in India that scrutinises the risks and impacts of renewable energy, and Protein Challenge, a coalition that aims to reimagine the food system.
Prior to SIF, Yu worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Policy Studies at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. There, she worked with the likes of former head of the civil service Lim Siong Guan and Housing & Development Board chief executive Dr Cheong Koon Hean.
