Walmart has said it will sever dealings with an unnamed supplier that subcontracted to the Bangladeshi textile factory that burned down last weekend. The blaze outside the capital of Dhaka killed more than 100 workers. Protests have erupted over the unsafe working conditions in the area’s factories, which are over-crowded, badly wired and lack sufficient safety measures. Walmart said it would work with the industry to help improve conditions.
