Saigon Transportation Mechanical Corp. (Samco) has been named contractor of technical infrastructure works of Ascendas-Protrade Singapore Tech Park in Binh Duong Province.
Samco deputy general director Le Van Pha said the enterprise received the contract from Ascendas-Protrade joint venture last week, with two packages on a combined area of 150 hectares.
Samco will start on the second package comprising roads, tree planting, rainwater drains, electrical and communication supply and lighting systems. Construction will be complete in 10 months from March 29, Pha said.
Ascendas-Protrade Singapore Tech Park covers 500 hectares in Binh Duong Province with enterprises in the lighting, green technology, food and beverage, energy and pharmacy sectors. It is part of the 1,350 hectare An Tay industrial-service complex.
Ascendas-Protrade is a joint venture between Singapore’s Ascendas Pte Ltd. and Vietnamese state-owned firm Protrade Corporation. Ascendas is an Asian leader in business space solutions, with a growing presence in Singapore, China, India and South Korea.
