Shark’s fin soup heads for endangered list

Singapore’s anti-shark fin movement is growing, with an increasing number of corporations pledging to ban the product from business events. Only two Singapore ministries - the Ministry of Law (MinLaw) and the Ministry for Environment (MEWR) - have joined the ranks. Singapore’s shark fin imports jumped 40 per cent last year to reach about 3,500 tonnes compared to the previous year.
