Solar-powered worship in Malaysia

A remote Hindu temple uses solar to keep the lights on after losing it electricity source. The 100-year-old Ladang Sungai Salak temple in Siliau had lost its local power supply when a nearby worker settlement relocated. When hook-up to the nearest grid and diesel generators proved too costly, the MyNadi Foundation stepped in with a 175 watt solar power system installed at a discount by a local installer.
