South Korean firm Sungjin Geotech has expressed intent to develop solar projects in Tamil Nadu with a capacity of 200 MW and above. Sungjin, an affiliate of South Korean steel firm Posco, is said to have been looking for prospects in Tamil Nadu for the last two to three years. Tata Power is also seen as a potential solar investor in Tamil Nadu following the attendance of one of its officials at an investor’s meeting with Tangedco.
