Two South Korean firms building solar farm in Sendai

Korea South-East Power Co. and STX Solar Co. are set to construct a 45-megawatt solar farm in Sendai, Japan. The estimated $120 million project is slated to begin construction on the first half of 2013 in northeastern Japan, the area hit by an earthquake and a tsunami in March 2011. The solar farm’s generation capacity  is enough to supply the energy requirements of some 19,000 households.
