Alfa Laval is joining Asia Water 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

For the first time in Southeast Asia, at Asia Water Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from March 19-21, 2014, Alfa Laval – a global supplier to the wastewater treatment industries – presents an exceptionally wide spectrum of Alfa Laval capabilities in processing and managing water, sewage, waste and raw materials.

Alfa Laval has a strong position in water and wastewater treatment. Thousands of Alfa Laval decanters are installed worldwide, cleaning volumes of waste water from a population equaling that of the entire US. The largest part of Alfa Laval’s business is in the sludge dewatering process in municipal and industrial waste water treatment plants. Through the dewatering process, sludge volumes are substantially reduced, creating large savings for customers.

“Wastewater treatment is an area that is expected to show a strong increase in demand in the future,” says Daniel Ng, Managing Director of Alfa Laval Malaysia, “According to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) and UNICEF’s joint monitoring program for water supply and sanitation (JMP), 11 percent of the world’s population (783 million people) are still without access to safe water.”

At Alfa Laval’s stand D506, Hall 5, at the Asia Water Exhibition, visitors will get the opportunity to hear about the company’s many widely recognized wastewater treatment solutions and equipments:
