Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Exhibition Co Ltd, the organiser of Beijing International Building Technology has announced that the first edition of its fair has been postponed until 2013. The fair was originally scheduled to be held from 4 – 6 April 2012 at New China International Exhibition Center, Beijing, China.
Mr Richard Li, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt in China said, “Due to recent market developments, we have decided for the benefit of our exhibitors and visitors to postpone the show until 2013.”
Mr Li added, “The building technology market in China is huge and full of potential. After extensive discussions with key players in the building industry, differentiation of various roles and needs among different regions in China has been identified. In order to create suitable platforms which cater the needs of different market segment in China, we will soon announce new information for the interest of all.”
Next year’s fair will be a conference-led exhibition which focuses on building technology energy saving and efficiency. It will be aimed at industry associations, international and domestic standard bodies, architectural design institutes, universities, government officials, and suppliers of building solutions.
Beijing International Building Technology is organised by the Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Exhibition Co Ltd. It is part of Messe Frankfurt’s building technology shows which are headed by the biennial ISH, the world’s leading trade fair for sanitary, heating and air-conditioning and the Light+Building event held in Frankfurt, Germany.
