Singapore, 1 October 2019–BlueSG Pte.Ltd. (a subsidiary of the Bolloré Group), today announced the opening of its 1,000th BlueSG charging point located at Blk 245A, Pasir Ris Street 21 with strong membership and rental figuresfor its Electric Vehicle Car-Sharing Programme.
BlueSG, the first large-scale electric vehicle car-sharing service in Singapore, launched on 12 December 2017, has continued the development of its network of stations in public housing estates, city centre, industrial buildings, multiple shopping malls and Sentosa.There are currently 530 Bluecars and 253 BlueSG charging stations offering1,003 charging points island-wide.

BlueSG has opened 99 charging points across 25 stations in HDB, URA & JTC carparks for EVowners to charge on its infrastructure since April this year. “Today, we are half way to our commitment to the Singapore authorities to offer 2,000 charging points and 1,000 EVs. By densifying our network of stations where people live, work and shop, we aim to make our EV car-sharingservice available to most Singaporeans who can enjoy a convenient and affordable transport mode while being environmentally friendly.”said Franck Vitté, Managing Director, BlueSG.
New Rental Options
BlueSG will launch long rental package tomorrow allowing its Premium members the possibility to rent its Bluecars for longer duration at cheaper pricing during selected hours. There are 2 long rental packages–3-hour rental package worth $39.90; and 5-hour rental package worth $49.90.
These packages provide BlueSG’s Premium members additional options fitting their needs and more flexibility for their planning.
Interested parties can sign up and register on www.bluesg.com.sg or the BlueSG mobile app (BlueSG), which can be downloaded on the App Store and Google Play, and will enable users to book a Bluecar and reserve a BlueSG parking space in advance.
