The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, Asia’s largest trade fair for the international lighting industry, returns for its 18th edition from 9 – 12 June 2013 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition will again be held concurrently with Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology, focused on the latest developments in electrical engineering as well as building and home automation, and Building Solar China. The combined shows will take place across 21 halls, covering more than 210,000 sqm of exhibition space. Over 2,900 exhibitors are expected to participate at the shows.

The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition will focus on the most up to date lighting and LED technology. More than 70% of booth space was booked within three months after the 2012 show. • Brand-name technical and decorative lighting
  • Accessories and electronics components
  • General technical and decorative lighting

Fair received increased support from overseas pavilion participants

Industry association support remains strong for the lighting show. The Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association and the Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association have both confirmed the return of pavilions from their respective regions.

Due to positive response, The Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association will join hands with the Hong Kong Productivity Council for organising the Hong Kong pavilion. Returning for the third time to the lighting show, the pavilion will double its booth size to 252 sqm for the 2013 show. In addition, a series of seminars and business matching programmes will run concurrently within the pavilion’s exhibiting space.

The Taiwan pavilion will make its fourth annual return to the fair. As of now, more than 65% of booths in the Taiwan pavilion have already been booked. Mr David Cheung, Chairman, Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association commented: “The 2012 show provided great business to our member exhibitors. The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition continues to be ahead of the latest industry trends each year. We believe Taiwanese lighting suppliers can offer great solutions to the fairs attendees, and will continue to organise a pavilion at the show.”
