Emergent Ventures would be making InterSolar-2014 as carbon neutral.
Carbon neutrality would be achieved by estimating emissions from three major parameters, including travel, hotel accommodations and electricity consumed which contributes majorly to the carbon footprint of an event of such genre.
The footprint would be estimated for the three days of the event.
Emergent Ventures would be retiring carbon credits generated from portfolio of wind and hydro projects to neutralize the emissions on behalf InterSolar India.
A carbon neutral event certification would be presented to InterSolar event once the event concludes. EVI Solar,an SBU of Emergent Ventures would be exhibiting at the event at the same time.
