The SNEC PV Power Expo 2015 was held from April 28 to 30 in the Pudong New Area in Shanghai, China. Omnik New Energy, a professional solar PV inverter manufacturer from Suzhou, China, attended the expo and exhibited its second generation single phase inverter and three phase inverter series at it.
Omnik’s inverters drew the attention of the passers-by, who stopped and communicated with its employees.
On the afternoon of April 29, the company held its new product release conference, and industrial professionals and media reporters were attracted and appeared at the conference, where two of its inverters were shown to the audience, including Omniksol-1K/1.5K-M (single phase) and Omniksol-10K-TL2 (three phase).
Omniksol-1K/1.5K-M is the smallest single phase inverter released by Omnik in 2015, which only weighs 5 kg and doesn’t need no transformers. Its highest conversion efficiency can reach up to 95.5%, and the product features a very high MPP tracking accuracy (>99.9%).
Omniksol-10K-TL2 only weighs 22 kg, which is 5 kg lighter than the company’s first generation 5 kg inverter. Today products of the same type on the market usually weigh 35 or so. The small volume of this product has one obvious advantage. That’s low cost. It is easier to install and transport, and its structure cost is also very low.
In 2015, Omnik doesn’t only focus on researching, manufacturing and selling string inverters, but it also tries to provide downstream distributed power plant builders with better services. Therefore, it has also researched and released the P-series devices applied to large-scale smart power plants, including Omniksol-PQD, Omniksol-PQDPro, Omniksol-PCC and Omnik-PID which aims to prevent solar panels’ PID effect.
