Will Hackney is the Infrastructure BIM Leader at Aurecon.
Having studied civil engineering and completed an MSc in IT Management in Construction at Salford University, Will has developed a wealth of experience in managing and implementing BIM, both strategically and technically. Much of Will’s career to date has been spent with leading contractor, VINCI (formerly Taylor Woodrow Construction) and as the BIM Leader for Transport for London (TfL), the UK’s largest infrastructure operator/owner.
Will is a member of BIM4Infrastructure, BIM4Clients, the BIM2050 Group and an advisor to The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the UK, where he continues to influence industry best practice for life-cycle information modelling and management.
