An advanced workforce for GM’s advanced vehicle technologies

United States automaker General Motors is opening a new R&D centre in China to develop advanced technologies for cars. GM said the Shanghai facility, which will focus on electric and hybrid vehicle technologies for the global market, was well-placed to take advantage of China’s soaring demand for vehicles. It will also benefit from China’s ample supply of engineering talent and a skilled workforce.
