Denmark’s Vestas, one of the world’s biggest wind turbine makers, said on Wednesday it had won an order for turbines with combined capacity of 49 megawatts in China.
Vestas Wind Systems A/S said in a statement the order was placed by Master Investment Company Ltd, which placed its first wind turbine order with the company in April this year. The order is for 25 units of its V90.1.8/2.0 megawatt turbine scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter of next year, Vestas said.
The company did not disclose financial details.
