Australia provides extra funding for PV research

Fresh funding for “early and mid-career” photovoltaic researchers were released by the Australian federal government as part of its Skills Development Programme. Some AUD$3.3 million worth of grants will be disbursed to 11 researchers working on various solar projects. The beneficiaries of the funding will join 31 other researchers currently working on photovoltaic projects at the Australia Solar Institute. The Australian government’s is expected to expand the Skills Development Programme next year.
