Smarter cities and villages for Malaysia

The Malaysian government has teamed up with the New York Academy of Sciences to start the Smart City-Smart Village programme, the second project under their joint Global Science and Innovation Advisory Council.

The programme aims to develop coordinated policies and build capacity to improve the quality of life for Malaysians in both rural and urban areas, with a focus on green technology and information technology.
