Taiwan’s Giga Solar adds production lines on surging orders

Taiwanese firm Giga Solar Materials will be ramping up production at its photovoltaic conductive-pasted plant in Southern Taiwan Science Park to accommodate increased orders from solar energy equipment manufacturers. Giga Solar has captured 90 per cent of the local market for conductive pastes. Its activity boost has already resulted in a 41 per cent jump in revenues in October, month on month, which may see robust earnings for 2012. Giga Solar has recently penetrated solar equipment manufacturers in China and Japan.
