Claudio Sarmiento currently works in Urban Development at EMBARQ Mexico. Claudio is an architect and urbanist who graduated with honors from Tecnológico de Monterrey at Querétaro. He has taught, researched, and studied both New Urbanism, and architectural theory and history at his alma mater in Mexico. Claudio’s academic experiences also include work at TU Delft in the Netherlands and McGill University in Canada. Claudio’s recent efforts are focused on urban planning and design in projects, such as community-based public spaces in Querétaro and master plans in Hidalgo.
