Dr. Nuki Agya Utama is the executive director of the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). He is currently an advisory board member of Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre (APERC) and World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Future Councils.
He holds a PhD, with research on Life Cycle Energy Analysis from the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment, the University of Technology King Mongkut (KMUTT), Thailand.
Prior to ACE, he worked as a director at various local companies and as a consultant in well-known international Institutions. In his early career, he served as a consultant at UNDP and UNEP, working on energy and environment-related issues. He also served as the head of Environmental Engineering department at Surya University, Indonesia and currently serves as a lecturer at the Swiss German University, Indonesia.
