Based in the Philippine capital of Manila, I am drawn to stories where climate issues intersect with communities, finance, justice, and everyday life.
I lead a report on the equitable transition in mining, which became a finalist at the 2023 Society of Publishers in Asia. I wrote a piece on electric vehicles, recognised as a finalist in the 2022 One World Media UK awards.
In 2024, I am participating in the Oxford Climate Journalism Network, a six-month training programme for journalists around the world covering climate change, run by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford.
Prior to Eco-Business, I was managing global teams in the financial services side of Thomson Reuters Manila. I was a television broadcaster and business reporter in Manila, as well as a contributor to the Barcelona Metropolitan magazine when I lived in Spain.
Above all else, I am most proud of being a wife and mother – the reasons why I continuously work towards a more sustainable world.
