The International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM), ASEAN’s largest green technology exhibition and conference returns from 11th to 13th October 2017 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, targeting 320 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors comprising government officials, policy makers, investors, entrepreneurs and academicians from approximately 20 countries with the aim of generating over US$375 million in business leads.
Over the past seven years, IGEM has cemented its position as the go-to business platform for the green technology sector generating US$2.25 billion in business leads, featuring 2,000 exhibitors and attracting more than 380,000 visitors from over 50 countries.
IGEM 2017, themed “Powering Green Cities”, focuses on creating living areas that are ecologically-sound and future-ready. In line with this theme, this year’s IGEM will feature a dynamic and diverse exhibition floor showcasing the latest green technology innovations across dedicated energy, transport, building and industry zones.
The international pavilions confirmed for IGEM 2017 include Japan, Korea and China as well as regional representation from the European Union and Taiwan.

Ltd, Atlantic Blue, BSL Eco Energy, Esona Technologies, First Solar Malaysia, Gading Kencana, Hanwha Q-Cell, Itramas Manufacturing, JA Solar Malaysia, Japan External Trade Organization, Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, Malaysian Timber Certification Council, Pekat Engineering, SIRIM QAS International, Taiwan External Trade Development Council and Zhejiang Jinko Solar.
IGEM 2017 will also feature insightful conferences, forums, dialogues, key note addresses and networking sessions with international speakers, subject matter experts and thought leaders. The three much-anticipated conferences addressing pressing industry topics, are:
- IGEM Conference 2017 - International Urban Sustainability & Green Building Conference (IUSGBC) by Malaysia Green Building Confederation, an established member of the World Green Building Council
- The EU-Malaysia Discourse on Palm Oil Sustainability Conference by the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry
- Carbon Neutral Opportunities by the Electrical and Electronics Association of Malaysia
