Eco-Business is excited to launch a Youth Ambassador initiative for passionate university students across Singapore! As a Youth Ambassador, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to promoting awareness around sustainability issues and expanding the Eco-Business community on campus. You’ll also get exclusive mentorship opportunities from our experienced team to deepen your knowledge and skills in sustainable development and media.

About Eco-Business

Established in 2009, Eco-Business is an independent media and business intelligence company dedicated to sustainable development and ESG performance. We publish high-quality, trusted news and views in multimedia formats on business and policy developments around the world with a sustainability and ESG-focused lens. Our platform features more than a decade-long archive of information on sustainable development issues in the region and globally.

Role Overview

As a Youth Ambassador, you will represent Eco-Business on your campus, working to raise awareness of sustainability issues and increase student engagement with Eco-Business’s content. Your role will involve promoting the student subscription plan, helping your peers access valuable insights into sustainability trends, and serving as a vital link between your university and the Eco-Business community.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand Readership on Campus: Share Eco-Business articles, events, and other content through campus networks, social media, and student forums to increase readership and build a community of environmentally conscious students.
• Promote Eco-Business Student Subscription: Actively encourage your peers to subscribe to Eco-Business’s student plan, showcasing the value it provides in terms of news, insights, and career-building content related to sustainability.
• Organize Campus Events: Plan and host events, such as sustainability talks, workshops, or panels featuring the Eco-Business team or local sustainability leaders, to engage students and promote learning opportunities.
• Serve as a Liaison: Collect and share feedback from students about their interests and needs related to sustainability news and resources, helping Eco-Business tailor its student offerings.
• Mentorship Participation: Take part in exclusive mentorship sessions with Eco-Business team members to develop skills in sustainable development, journalism, and communication.

Requirements

• Currently Enrolled Student: Open to undergraduate or graduate students at universities across Asia Pacific.
• Passionate about Sustainability: Demonstrated interest in sustainability issues and willingness to be a strong advocate for Eco-Business’s mission.
• Engaging & Outgoing: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with peers and campus communities.
• Self-Starter: Able to independently organize events, manage outreach activities, and promote Eco-Business’s offerings.
