Cescotti was formerly the president and country manager of food processing firm GEA in Russia, Belarus, Central Asia and the Caucasus Region.
Cescotti will be involved in business development and corporate management of Biomicrogels, which has offices in China, Poland, Russia and the United Kingdom. The firm entered the Southeast Asia market in 2019 and is involved in improving palm oil production in Malaysia and Indonesia.
The firm announced last week that it intends to go public by 2024.
“I am happy to accompany the team of the Biomicrogels Group on their way to the IPO,” said Cescotti. “I am confident that our cooperation will benefit leading industrial enterprises throughout the world and will help reduce environmental damage from carbon emissions, as well as preserve fresh water for future generations.”
Cescotti, who hails from Germany and has been an entrepreneur for over 30 years, is also a board member of the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce.
