China’s National Energy Administration has confirmed that it is set to adjust the development scale of solar energy in the country. According to industry experts the state may increase the installed production capacity of solar energy in the country due to changes in the photovoltaic market. China’s 12th Five-Year plan stated in September that the solar energy production capacity will top 21 GW. Recent higher demand may see that target adjusted to 40 GW.
