Chinese wind turbine manufacturers are taking advantage of their country’s growing demand for renewables and are reaping the rewards for it, said a new report from business intelligence providers GBI Research. The report said out of last year’s top 10 firms by market share in the global wind turbine market, four were Chinese. China’s Sinovel Wind was second on that list. The landscape had been favourable for the Chinese manufacturers as China has one of the fastest growing wind markets in the world coupled with a rapidly expanding demand for renewable energy.
