Chinese RE firms to receive delayed subsidies

Chinese renewable firms China Longyuan Power Group Corp. and China Datang Corp. Renewable Power will have improved cashflow as the Chinese government delivers a delayed pay-out from renewable feed-in premium. China’s National Development and Reform Commission has asked the power-grid firms to clear payments for the seven months from October 2010. China doubled its power surcharges to users last year to subsidise renewable energy projects.
