Environmental regeneration in action in Taiwan

Taiwan’s Danshui River and its surroundings are well on their way to restored health after decades of foul pollution, reported the Environmental Protection Administration. Government and private sector moves to ramp up wastewater treatment, install sanitation systems and establish parks and conservation areas have resulted in the cleanest conditions in 30 years and the return of many wildlife species.
