Global solar power manufacturer JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. has entered into a $1 billion financing agreement with the Guangdong Branch of China Development Bank. The cooperation agreement will cover a period of five years. The deal is being signed by JinkoSolar through its Swiss subsidiary JinkoSolar (Switzerland) AG and the financing will be used to fund their overseas expansion, merger, acquisitions, and the project development of its photovoltaic solar power plants.
