Less trash to go to waste in China

The Asian Development Bank and United Commercial Bank have agreed to a US$200 million loan to fund waste to energy plants built by Chinese firm China Everbright International. The projects will generate 1.24 billion kilowatt hours of power each year and process 7,300 tonnes of municiple and agricultural waste each day.
