Malaysian authorities have urged housing developers nationwide to build more green buildings for improved environmental quality. Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Chor Chee Heung said Malaysian authorities will now be ensuring that each building plan submitted by developers have ‘green concept’ characteristics. There are no proposals yet on how this ‘green concept’ will be defined by local authorities.
