Modern Water takes on desalination project in China

UK-based Modern Water has signed a deal to jointly identify and develop water-related projects in China including seawater desalination. Modern Water has inked a Framework Agreement with Hangzhou Development Center of Water Treatment Technology, which is part-owned by the China National Chemical Corporation. Hangzhou Water has worked on 60 per cent of China’s current or planned desalination projects. Modern Water had just completed the installation of its 200 cubic metre per day forward osmosis desalination plant at the Al Najdah in the Al Wusta region of Oman.
