Renewables continuing on the ground as Doha talks begin

As the world awaits a decision on a possible international agreement at the UN climate conference in Doha, renewable projects are being built in different parts of the world including developing nations. Emerging economy China had recently reported that its clean energy investments increased 48 per cent in October compared to levels from a year ago, with an energy mix that includes nuclear, hydro, and wind. Australia’s $1 billion Macarthur Wind Farm is scheduled to be fully operational by February while another 420 MW project in Victoria is being built.
