Sarah Cheong has moved on from Zuellig Pharma, one of the largest healthcare services groups in Asia, after almost three years to join Singapore’s Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) as assistant director, outreach and engagement.

Cheong joins a ministry with a mission to “provide a clean and sustainable environment, with resilient supplies of safe food and water.” Among MSE’s recent programmes is GreenGov.SG, which aims to reduce the environmental footprint of the public sector.
At Zuellig Pharma, Cheong was regional sustainability lead, driving the healthcare services firm’s sustainability strategy to make healthcare more accessible across 13 markets.
Prior to Zuellig Pharma, Cheong worked for Marina Bay Sands in the social media team for the hospitality group’s sustainability and corporate social responsibility programmes.
Cheong’s background is in public relations, having started her career at consumer PR firm AKA Asia in 2014.
