Tham Kok Wing, the head of industry development and engagement counsel for non-profit Singapore Environment Council, has been appointed to lead the Singapore office of sustainability consultancy Robertsbridge.

Robertsbridge has entered the Singapore market a year after it was acquired by strategy and sustainability consultancy Stonehaven.

Tham takes on the role of director, Singapore, Robertsbridge.

He will report to Robertsbridge founder and chairman Brendan May, and Ian Rumsby, Asia Pacific managing partner of Stonehaven.

At SEC, Tham led sustainability and decarbonisation programmes, including strategic partnerships with trade and government bodies.

Tham’s background is in public relations. Before joining SEC, he worked for PR firms including Ruder Finn, where he was regional vice president of engagement and integration.

The Singapore launch of Robertsbridge comes in the same week as The Purpose Business, another sustainability consultancy, opened an office in the city-state.
