Preparations for the upcoming Coral Triangle Initiative (CTI) Regional Business Forum are well underway as the Malaysian Government, together with WWF, US CTI Support Program, and the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI), finalize plans for this anticipated event happening on 10-11 October at the Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
With the theme “Innovative Solutions Today for Sustainable Resources Tomorrow”, this business forum takes off from the first one held in Manila early last year and will once again provide a much needed regional platform for key business and industry leaders from various sectors as well as high-level government representatives and NGOs from Coral Triangle countries to forge stronger partnerships that promote long-term economic growth and environmental health for this resource-rich region.
Hosted this year by the Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, the forum will focus on new trends, technologies, and innovations that enable more sustainable marine resource use for sectors that include manufacturing, retail, tourism, finance, technology, energy, transportation, governance, and plantations, among others.
Early-bird registration is now ongoing. Go to www.ctibusinessforum2011.com for more information.
