The Green Trade Project Office under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs has continued to deepen its presence in the emerging Southern Hemisphere market, leading a delegation of Taiwanese LED lighting manufacturers to participate in the biennial EXPOLUX trade show scheduled to be held on April 22-26 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in an effort to help Taiwanese companies expand business opportunities.
A ‘Taiwan Innovative LED Lighting Product Pavilion’ is set up for the fair in the White and Green Pavilions, Expo Center Norte (Booth L10) to showcase a wide range of LED lighting solutions.
Li-Yen Ma, Division Chief of the Integrated Marketing Division at the Green Trade Project Office, said, ‘LED lighting products promise a considerable reduction in energy consumption, offering a good solution for energy efficiency planning. Energy efficiency has also been one of the main concerns in Brazil with the government having launched a series of policies for energy efficiency improvement in the past few years.
Taiwanese manufacturers have dedicated themselves to the development of LED lighting solutions for decades, and are able to offer a wide selection of products ranging from LED components to completed light fixtures. We believe that buyers in the local market and from around the world will easily find the most suitable solutions among the various product lines.’
Exhibitors at the ‘Taiwan Innovative LED Lighting Product Pavilion’ include TYC Brother Industrial, the world-leading automotive lighting product maker; industry veteran Hergy Lighting Technology; Taiwan Excellence Award winner Leadray Energy; Full Sun Optotech; and Torch Industrial, showcasing their latest LED lighting offerings.
Visitors will also view first-hand a variety of LED light fixtures of unique design. Products on display include the ‘Asteria MR16’ from Aeon Lighting Technology, Red Dot Design Award winner ‘LED Lamp – Angel’ by Home Resource Industrial, QisDesign’s ‘Flamenca’ with exquisite wave silhouette, and the dimmer-free LED light bulb from BenQ, a winner of the 2012 Taiwan Green Classics Award. ‘LED Blocky Lights’ of Ukin Technology features great flexibility of usage.
‘The One’ LED desk lamp offered by Just Power Integrated Technology can be detached, and works as a flashlight. ‘Wish Lamp’ from COCOKASA Lighting is designed with great mobility, ideal for outdoor use. Everlight Lighting, Taiwan’s leading LED maker and also a three-time winner of the Taiwan Green Classics Award, will present its LED light bulb line.
